Privacy Policy
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains what UYield (the "Operator", "we", "us") collects when you use uyield.finance, app.uyield.finance, and getuyield.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Using the Interface means you understand the practices described here.
Data we collect
Wallet data: the wallet address you connect, the transactions you construct through the Interface, and your on-chain activity with the vault contracts. Blockchain data is public by design and is not created or controlled by us.
Terms acceptance records: when you accept the Terms in the app we store the accepting wallet, the Terms version, a timestamp, and the country associated with your connection at that moment.
Approximate location: your country, derived from your IP address at our hosting provider's edge to operate geo-controls. We do not store raw IP addresses in our application records.
Usage analytics: cookieless product analytics events (page views, clicks, flow completion) associated with a random identifier rather than a tracking cookie.
Assistant conversations: the questions you send to "Ask UYield" and the answers returned, associated with hashed identifiers, kept to improve answer quality and safety.
Things you send us: form submissions, support requests, and emails, including any contact details you choose to include. Error and performance telemetry from the Interface may include browser and device metadata.
What we never collect
We never collect or have access to your private keys or seed phrase. We do not run identity verification (KYC) and do not collect government identity documents. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data. If any non-essential cookies are ever introduced, we will add a consent control first.
How we use data
We use the data above to operate and improve the Interface; to enforce geo-controls and screen wallets for sanctions and abuse; to keep records the law requires; to respond when you contact us; to debug errors; and to understand which parts of the product work. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
On-chain data is public
Transactions you sign are recorded permanently on public blockchains, are visible to anyone, and cannot be edited or deleted by us or anyone else. Deleting data from our systems does not remove anything from a blockchain.
Processors
We share data with service providers that host and operate the Interface on our behalf: web hosting and edge infrastructure, blockchain RPC and indexing providers, cookieless analytics, error monitoring, email, and the AI model provider that powers the assistant when live answers are enabled. Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to comply with sanctions obligations, or to protect the Interface and its users. Curators receive aggregate vault statistics, not user identities.
Retention
Analytics are retained in aggregate. Assistant transcripts are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted or anonymized. Terms-acceptance records and compliance records are retained for as long as needed to meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained while relevant to the relationship.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we hold very little about you — often just a wallet address and usage events — the practical scope may be narrow, but we honor valid requests. Write to privacy@uyield.finance from the contact method involved, or include proof of control of the relevant wallet, and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Security
Traffic to the Interface is encrypted in transit. We minimize what we collect, restrict internal access, and never hold custody of funds or keys, which removes the largest category of risk entirely. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and our processors may store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
The Interface is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy here with a new date and version. Material changes will be flagged on the Interface.
